Converting DateTime to Date

Converting Datetime to date in a table

Updating all the bookdate in a table from datatime to date
For example tablename = t1

update t1 bookdate = convert(varchar(10),bookdate,101)

converting datetime to date

convert(varchar(10),getdate(),101)
